Adam Khan, the founder of 12th Street Burgers, is no stranger to the food and beverage (F&B) industry.

With many years of experience as a multi-unit franchisee, Adam has operated some of the UK’s most highly regarded brands.

His journey began much like yours today: looking into franchise opportunities and wondering if entering the F&B sector was the right fit for him. After careful consideration, he decided it was.

Adam’s time as a franchisee taught him many invaluable lessons about the industry. He experienced first-hand the challenges and frustrations franchisees face when running multiple units, from managing staff to maintaining consistent customer experiences across locations.

Adam saw the opportunity for a new approach: a franchise model that truly supports its franchisees, with a focus on long-term success rather than short-term gains.

This was the catalyst for the creation of 12th Street Burgers.

Opening the first 12th Street Burgers diner

Adam’s vision was to create an American-themed casual diner, which perfectly blended the iconic charm of American cuisine and service with the innovative spirit and quality standards of British dining.

But it would offer more than just quality food; it would guarantee a genuinely enjoyable customer experience upon every visit and order.

Our maiden diner opened in Milton Keynes in 2020, with Adam and his team setting out to offer the very best burgers, chicken, and shakes in town. The response was overwhelmingly positive – customers simply loved the food and kept coming back for more.

This success validated Adam’s vision and proved that there was a demand for a high-quality, American-themed dining experience in the UK.
